El Acabo Reposado
Origin:
Artisanal tequila produced at Taberna Tres Gallos, located in Ahuacatepec, in the municipality of Atenguillo, Jalisco, Mexico.
Aging Process:
Aged for six months in California oak barrels that previously held whiskey and red wine, allowing the tequila to develop a distinctive and layered character.
Appearance & Color:
The spirit develops an intense red hue, resulting from the red wine sediments remaining inside the barrels during maturation.
Flavor Profile:
During aging, El Acabo Reposado moves away from the herbal and citrus notes typically found in its Blanco expression, taking on the rich tannins of the oak along with prominent red wine notes, complemented by a subtle touch of whiskey.
Tasting Profile
